‘Move Yourself’ pairs 16-bit nostalgia with electro clubbing energy for a brand new battlefield anthem
Tokyo, 27th June 2025 - Dutch house pioneer Sidney Samson steps into the fray with 'Move Yourself' a brand new single produced exclusively for the new FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves soundtrack. Fuelled by electro overtones and 16-bit textures, Samson's new release injects a touch of the club onto the battlefield. Set your difficulty on June 27 when 'Move Yourself' drops as part of the FATAL FURY: City of Wolves soundtrack, joining additional exclusive cuts from Steve Aoki, Alok, Solomun, R3HAB, and many more.
One of the founding figures of the global Dutch house movement, Sidney Samson has helped shape the sound of modern electronic music via productions like 'Riverside' and collaborations with the likes of Martin Garrix, Lil Jon, and Afrojack. Now, the proven tastemaker brings his musical know-how to the screen, conjuring a vivid house beat for FATAL FURY that feels equal parts retro and refreshingly new. Colourful synths slice and dice, but it's ultimately the rattling bassline which props the single up for everything from the battlefield to peak hours clubfare.
As Samson adds: “I grew up with fighting games, and the soundtracks from that era inspired me to make Move Yourself—a tribute to this already legendary game.”
As part of a 19 song soundtrack brimming with exclusive originals, 'Move Yourself' finds itself among an elite roster of talent--amassed by none other than Salvatore Ganacci. Together, the soundtrack doesn't only bolster the legacy of SNK's FATAL FURY, but asserts the franchise as a cultural phenomenon that extends far beyond the limits of the controller.
FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves is out now on Playstation, Xbox, and Windows, with new singles from the soundtrack landing throughout the year.
